new site ideas

I've owned two domains for a lot of years at this point....I used to have sites up on both but now I just keep holding onto the domains....

Subvertmag.net will be returning soon, but wakeskating will not be the focus. what will it be, just wait and see.

Also I will be reenergizing exilestate.net because that's what I do. it was just a blog in the past, this time it will be more information driven, but I will have a blog on there also,, I think at this point.

mtb and moving

ok, so I finally did my first solo trail on Saturday. a medium/advanced trail at rope mill creek and wow it was great. I did it in half the time it took me on Wednesday and I still took a lot of breaks. I make it out 3 times this week, the most so far and I definately can't wait to get back out there... maybe tomorrow after work. Guess I need the try the trails over in roswell too since I'm so close.

Wednesday I close on the house so most of this week will be taken up with packing/moving. It's pretty exciting to be buying my first house. I just wish I was already in there. It's gonna be a crazy week with work too, lots of projects to get ahead on before I take time off.

paper work fun

Last week I signed my full name about 200 times on all the mortgage paper work.
They told me there will be more at the closing, awesome. I need to get a name stamp made or something.

Gotta get the rental house all cleaned up and ready to be emptied. I'm ready to be out of there now, it was a good experience but I would not do it over again.

Home owner

Yep, the bid was accepted and I should be in the house in 30 to 45 days.
The start of a new adventure in home ownership as it were.

Now I just need to get everything in order and ready for the move.
I'm extremely happy to have a fenced in backyard for the pups and a nice big garage for the Tahoe!

Putting a bid in for a house today. it's so strange all of the things you consider when buying a house. location, does it suite me needs, will it suite me needs in 5 yrs/10yrs. are the bedrooms big enough, is the yard big enough. it's a little bit maddening. I never really thought I would be buying a house alone though either.

I hate second guessing my self.

2 months

I have 2 months to find a new place to lay my head. Hopefully I can find a house to buy in that amount of time. Plus I have to get p90x going, I'll be mountain biking as much as possible. Training the dogs. Going to the lake.

My summer appears to be pretty full, well the next 2 months anyway.

Also, mountain biking... I bought a 2010 Specialized Hardrock and I have to say that it's been more fun than I thought it would be. I guess the investment has already paid off a bit. The bike is black and silver/grey....it matches Duke lol

I was running

Running a 5k in 5 days, then it's half marathon time toward the end of March.

Must train harder and faster.... need some new shoes too lol

new year

Well I have a lot that I want to get crossed off the life list this year. 2009 was definately a year that opened my eyes to a lot of new things...some good, some horrible.

and I still miss my Loki monster.
